Creek Week Cleanup Day

Creekside Cleanup Day
will be
Sunday, April 26
at 1 p.m.
Meet at 2921 North Platte

Meet up with neighbors (everyone is invited) to help clean the creek area along Broadwater and the Regional Park in Creekside.

Bags, gloves and refreshments will be provided. Closed toe shoes, long pants and sunscreen are recommended.

Last year participants dropped wildflower and California Poppy seeds which have resulted in hillsides flushed with both.

This event is an official Creek Week collaboration and the neighborhood organizer is Sean Avalos. He will have other information for anyone interested in knowing more about other regional efforts or celebrations.

If you would like to speak with Sean, please feel free to email him at ucd9699@sbcglobal.net. You can also contact Angelique Ashby at ashbyangelique@yahoo.com.

If you have a preference of the date, leave a comment! We haven't had much feedback.

Hi,

The 25th does not work for us b/c of a family reunion on that day. But FYI-Alta already has a Creek Week coordinator for the 25th to clean-up along our neighborhood's drainage canal. So if that ends up being the day, you all should probably contact that coordinator who will check in people at Club Center Drive and the drainage canal. They will provide bags and pick up. Take care and have a great day,
Rosemarie
