3rd Annual Creekside
4th of July Block Party

You are invited to celebrate the 4th of July
with the Creekside Neighborhood Association
and your Creekside neighbors.

Join us for the whole event that starts at 6:00 p.m. or
stop by for just some of the events.

6:00 p.m. - Meet at the balloon arch on Naponee Court with your bikes, scooters, skateboards and decorations

6:00 to 6:30 p.m. - Decorate your rides for the parade

6:30 to 7:00 p.m. - Parade will go east on North Platte, turn around on Mankato Court, west on North Platte, then back onto Naponee Court where there will be Otter Pops for the kids.

If you are on the parade route, decorate your homes and
come out and cheer for the parade participants.

7:00 to 8:00 p.m. - No host picnic on Naponee Court

Bring your own picnic including drinks, plates, utensils
and chairs.
Barbeque grills will be available.
Bring an appetizer, a side or a dessert to share.

Dusk/8:00 p.m. - Start sparklers

Dark - Start Fireworks

Bring fireworks to share.

Traffic Safety in Creekside

Now that the weather is nice, Creekside children are playing outside. Please remember to drive slowly through our narrow streets. Watch out for children at play. It is everybody's responsibility to keep them safe.

Be a Considerate Neighbor

With our houses in close proximity to each other, and windows open in the warm nights, remember to show more consideration to neighbors by:

• Keeping the noise level to a minimum especially late at night
• Turning down music in your vehicles when driving through the neighborhood
  
• Be aware of your dogs that bark all day and all night when left alone

Remember to clean-up after your pets when walking around the neighborhood. A Dog Park will soon open in the Regional Park between Creekside and Inderkum.

Slow down and help keep neighbors safe.

Next Meeting

Join us in Creekside tomorrow night (Wednesday, June 17th) at 7:30 p.m. at the Homecoming Apartments main office, upstairs in the community room (on Kokomo Dr. behind Safeway - the building with the white pillars).

We would love to have as many of you as possible. We only have one agenda item and then an open forum for discussion and talking with neighbors.

Our agenda item is finishing details and arrangements for the 3rd Annual Creekside 4th of July Block Party....

This should be a lot of fun and the more families we have participating both in planning and in attending the more fun it will be!

Join us tomorrow to plan and mark your calendars for the 4th to help us celebrate.

Helicopter over Creekside

At 11:20 p.m. on June 21, the Sacramento Police Department sent out the helicopter looking for a missing 35 year old woman and an infant. The person was later found.

Next Association Meeting

The next Creekside Neighborhood Association Meeting will be on Wednesday, July 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Homecoming Apartments Clubhouse. The Agenda will be posted before the meeting.
